Nick Kump
Vice President
Nick Kump brings a background rich in public relations, marketing and integrated communications to the Elmets team. Kump has experience in consumer product launches, branding, sports, financial services, and healthcare public relations, as well as campaign management and strategy. His diverse experience has equipped him with a unique ability to use both traditional and new media tactics to communicate targeted messages to key audiences.
Kump has developed valuable relationships with reporters and community leaders through his broad outreach on behalf of Native American tribes, elected officials, regional developers and business and trade associations throughout California. He coordinated the publicity and grand opening activities surrounding the multimillion dollar expansion of Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, CA. He has also managed multiple high-profile crisis communications situations and successfully executed critical efforts to raise awareness and influence opinions on key issues, legislation and candidates.
Kump is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication, where he was awarded Most Outstanding Undergraduate Public Relations Student for his contributions and achievements in the public relations industry as a student.
Kump currently holds a teaching credential in California and is a certified EMT-1 Basic. He is a board member of the Sacramento Young Republicans and Sacramento Toastmasters Downtowners. He is also an avid political blogger, a member of the California Blacksmith Association and recently completed an Ironman Triathlon in St. George, Utah.
