Save Gregory Canyon Video

Elmets Communications is working with the Pala Band of Mission Indians to prevent a dump from being built on the edge of their reservation in Gregory Canyon.

Two sacred sites, Gregory Mountain and Medicine Rock, are both located next to where the dump would sit and would forever be tarnished.

The fight to save Gregory Canyon has been going on for over 20 years and the supporters of the landfill are finally in the process of getting some decisions on the permits that are required for construction. San Diego County's Local Enforcement Agency is expected to make a decision on the Solid Waste Disposal Permit by April 1. This is just one of over a half dozen permits that the dump will have to obtain before construction beings.

We wrote the script and assisted with the production of a video to better tell the story of Gregory Canyon. You can find out more information at www.savegregorycanyon.org.
