On behalf of Elmets Communications, Miranda traveled up to Lincoln today to observe Thunder Valley employees deliver over 1.6 million sheets of office paper to the Western Placer Unified School District – enough paper to fulfill the entire school district’s needs for the current school year.

Scott Leaman, Superintendent WPUSD and Mary Boyle, Deputy Superintendent WPUSD, were in attendance today and expressed great appreciation for Thunder Valley’s charitable donation.

“During these tough economic times, the donation of paper is especially appreciated, allowing us to make copies of lessons, handouts and supplemental materials for our students to support their learning,” Boyle said. “We are very appreciative of Thunder Valley’s continuing generosity.”

When you break it down, receiving nine pallets of paper equates to 324 cases or 3,240 reams or 1,620,000 sheets of paper – that’s one half ream of copy paper per student in the Western Placer Unified School District!

This is the third year that Thunder Valley has donated copy paper to local schools, a tradition that we hope continues for years to come.
