The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States announced today that Bobby Price of Chula Vista, Calif., has achieved All-American status as Commander of the VFW Department of California.

Price, whose term as Department Commander ended last month, is one of only 22 VFW Department Commanders selected world-wide for All-American Commander Award.

National Commander Richard DeNoyer said, “The criteria for this honor are based on outstanding achievements in membership growth and participation in other VFW programs that benefit veterans and their communities.  The title of All-American Commander is the most prestigious honor given by our organization.”

As an All-American Department Commander, Price will receive a distinguished cap, pin, streamer, and expenses paid to the 113th VFW National Convention in Reno, Nev.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is America’s largest organization of combat veterans. Since its inception more than 100 years ago, the VFW has donated millions of dollars and volunteer hours, been a strong supporter of the country's youth, and of patriotic and educational efforts. The VFW has also been an unwavering advocate to the military, its veterans, and their families.
